This maple glazed carrots recipe is a must-try for your next dinner side dish! Easy to make and full of flavor, they’re sure to be a hit!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds carrots
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 2 Tbsp hot sauce (I use Yellowbird Jalapeno sauce)
  • 3 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 3 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 3 Tbsp Dijon mustard
  • optional – minced fresh parsley to garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Peel the carrots and cut into 2-inch segments. Then cut the segments in half lengthwise and then in half or thirds lengthwise again. 
  3. Place carrots in a large mixing bowl.
  4. In a small bowl, melt butter.
  5. Add remaining ingredients (except parsley) and stir to combine.
  6. Pour mixture over carrots and toss to coat.
  7. Spread carrots onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake 25-30 minutes or until carrots reach desired tenderness.
  9. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve warm.
